Gessner Engineering provided civil, geotechnical and structural engineering services for this one-story bank building with a drive-through canopy and associated parking totaling approximately 7,100 square feet. This project involved significant coordination with TxDOT for driveway locations and grading along the adjacent highways as required by the site layout. The civil design for this project included the grading and drainage for the entire 1.64 acre site, design of service utility lines and coordination with the local water and sanitary sewer service providers. This site provided challenges as there was no available existing storm sewer for tie-in and the site could only include surface drainage.
