Gessner Engineering provided geotechnical engineering services for the Camp Tejas Dining Hall Addition in Giddings, Texas. The project scope consisted of a two-story dining hall addition with a total footprint of approximately 15,000 square feet. Geotechnical services included drilling three test bore holes; two to a depth of 30 feet and one to a depth of 20 feet, within the perimeter of the proposed addition. Gessner Engineering recommended a stiffened slab-on-grade foundation system which matched the foundation of the existing building.
