Gessner Engineering provided structural engineering, construction materials testing and inspection services for the new retail center totaling approximately 10,623 square feet. Currently in construction, testing services to date include concrete, piers and density tests as well as bolt and weld inspections. All density tests were taken at six inch depths in accordance with ASTM D 698. A compaction test report, pier data report, concrete test report and in-place nuclear density test report was provided to the client. As requested, Gessner Engineering was on site to witness the proof rolling of the referenced project’s subgrade.
