Dr. Buchanan has over 52 years experience in Geotechnical Engineering design, business development and administration management. He serves as an engineering consultant and works remotely with Gessner Engineering. Dr. Buchanan’s experience includes design of highway tunnels, airfields, bridges, port facilities, earth dams and diversified building projects from tilt up walls to multi-story building. Dr. Buchanan was formerly under contract with TEEX (TxDOT and Texas A&M University) to provide classes at various locations throughout the state on pavements and roadways for state employees.
