Welcome to Gessner Engineering
Gessner Engineering, a limited liability corporation, is a multi-disciplined consulting engineering firm established to provide in-house civil, geotechnical and structural engineering, and construction materials testing services. We have been offering these services to clients throughout Texas since November 2003. Our corporate office is located in College Station; we have offices in Brenham and North Richland Hills, as well. Gessner Engineering is a State of Texas HUB certified firm.
Gessner Engineering is staffed and equipped with the latest software and tools required to meet the needs of this project in the most efficient manner. We began using REVIT for structural design projects in 2007. The BIM platform has allowed us to reduce dead references and conflicts, providing a more efficient design. Our civil engineering group works with the best Building Information Modeling (BIM) software for site engineering - AutoCAD Civil 3D. Our use of technology and innovation has lead to the involvement with projects of higher complexity.
We have recently purchased a new Mobile B-37 Drill Rig with capabilities to further increase our project performance. The B-37’s compact size permits track-mounting, which provides go-anywhere versatility. The new rig’s ability to drill deeper and faster results in greater efficiency in the field; and “Bubba Red” is one of only two of these drill rigs in Texas.
With 11 engineers on staff, Gessner Engineering is large enough to provide the expertise and resources needed to quickly complete projects and conform to the client’s schedule, but is small enough to provide the detailed attention the project deserves. Furthermore, our engineers are broken down into specific teams based on specialty. This organizational structuring was established to provide the ample efficiency needed for fast-track projects.
Gessner Engineering understands the importance of providing the highest quality performance in the most efficient manner. In order to meet the needs of our clients, Gessner Engineering employs a staff of thirty-seven. Team members include seven licensed professional engineers, four graduate engineers, technicians and support staff. We have three LEED® Accredited Professional engineers.
